This year the Star party was curtailed on Saturday due to the Testaladen Fire.  There are accounts of this on  our Facebook Page, including images. We are are thankful to the alert by  Murray Paulson and his family that informed us of this dangerous fire and everyone was able to evacuate the site before the fire crossed the exit road. There was no loss of life or property, and the actual summit did not burn, but there were visible changes to the area around the mountain to, that date back to this, when you visit the mountain top.  Including improvements to the access road, which lasted for a few years.
